Online Coding Classes For Kids Details

What are the objectives of our coding classes for Kids?

The age that we are living today is an age of smart gadgets and devices and this is made possible by what we call as coding. The coding or the instructions run these devices to carry out the job. Moreover, the kids start using all sorts of these gadgets from a very young age. The main objective of our Online Programming Foundation Course for kids is to prepare them for the future where coding will be in almost every part of their life.

Why should my kid go for an online course in coding?

Our online course in Programming Foundation for Kids introduces coding by way of coding blocks instead of text-based programming languages that are traditionally used by programmers. In our online coding classes, the kids learn programming through Scratch in which coding is done by dragging and dropping coding-blocks which is very easy for kids to learn and understand. Using the Scratch platform the kids gain mastery in developing wonderful projects and apps.

What skills will the kid be learning in our online coding classes?

The online classes conducted by CodingHero for Programming Foundation introduce kids to different aspects of programming like - sequencing, branching, looping, and functions and that too without worrying about the syntax of the code. The kids learn all these programming concepts by coding using Scratch where a program is created by arranging differently colored coding blocks like jigsaw puzzles.

Isn't a course like Programming meant for adults?

My kid is too young to learn to code? Think again. Many educators and experts are calling coding as the ‘new literacy’ - a subject so important that every child needs to know the basics to excel in our rapidly changing world. Five- and six- year olds can learn the foundations of coding and computer commands before they can even write and spell words. The Online Coding course for kids uses the programming environment of Scratch where kids learn coding using different color coding blocks and gradually can move to complex text-based programming at later stages in life.

Will Looping and Branching be taught as a part of this online Programming Foundation course?

Sequencing, looping, branching, and functions are the integral parts of any program. And obviously, in our online course on coding, we introduce all these concepts to kids through fun-filled activities. The kids start their coding journey by learning Scratch which makes learning enjoyable and fun for kids.

Who should take this course?

At CodingHero the coding is introduced through jigsaw puzzles sort of coloured programming blocks and therefore, the kids of the age group 6 - 9 years of age also find it very easy and comfortable to learn to code. The Scratch programming environment used in our online classes is a very effective and proven method to teach coding to kids.

Does a kid require to know computer basics to learn Programming?

The kids learn programming in our online course in Programming Foundation for kids by learning Scratch. Instead of using traditional text-based coding, the kids are introduced to the world of coding using drag and drop, visual programming blocks which are like tricycles of coding. With the Scratch environment, kids find learning coding far easier than learning spellings and writing.

Is an online coding course effective?

Most of the kids nowadays are exposed to the digital world at a relatively younger age. Online courses allow kids to use technology so as to avail of a more engaging learning experience. Through our online course on coding, we engage kids in many fun-filled and game-oriented activities that make their learning journey to coding a memorable experience.

Will it help a kid in her / his school computer curriculum?

Learning to code prepares kids for the world we live in today. The early children learn to code, the better their chance at success. If we want to set our children up for academic success, every child should learn to code. Coding not only improves their mathematics and writing skills but also gives them valuable skills like critical thinking, logical reasoning, problem-solving in life, and eventually in their career growth.

Give your child an Unfair Advantage

Give them skills of the future

Once your child learn to code and design at early age, they will have significant edge over other kids. Learning to code will help them secure a better future.
