Have you ever come across a beta version of a software?
Do you know what exactly it means?
The next step after the software is ready is testing the software.
There are two stages in software testing – alpha (α) testing and beta (β) testing.
Now, you might ask, what are these two testings?
Alpha testing: The team of developers performs alpha-testing to identify all possible bugs or issues in software. Alpha testing needs a lab environment and it is done by the internal testers.
It ensures that the developers appropriately meet the users’ requirements.
Beta testing is a type of acceptance testing. it is the final test before shipping a product to the customers. Moreover, Beta testing of a product is implemented by “real users” of the software application in a “real environment”.
