You might have heard of the term “Virtual Reality”. But have you ever heard of “Augmented Reality”?
Both Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality are immersive technologies. Immersive technology makes people immersed in a computer-generated reality.
But what is the difference between the two?

While Virtual Reality creates a completely artificial environment.
Augmented Reality uses the existing real-world environment and overlays information on top of it.
Pokemon Go is a popular example, blending the real world captured through your phone’s camera with virtual characters overlaid on top.
